Development Tools: Smarter Strings for Symbian OS

Smarter Strings for Symbian OS is a useful extension to Symbian OS's string classes.  We have created the descriptor class RStringBuf, which provides functions very similar to the other descriptors, but which manages its own memory allocation for all the common string operations.  We find it particularly useful when porting code from non-C++ environments.

The descriptor class is available in source form.   To use it, please uncompress the ZIP file to an empty directory.  Then take a look at the HTML documentation starting from docs/index.html
